The PLC cookie machine is a biscuit production machine that uses a programmable logic controller (PLC) to control and operate.
The working principle of PLC cookie machine:
Firstly, the operator sets various parameters for biscuit production through the human-machine interface (HMI), such as production speed, temperature, pressure, forming shape, etc.
Then, the PLC receives these set values and compares and processes them with the actual operating data feedback from the sensors. For example, a temperature sensor will monitor the temperature inside the oven in real time, and a pressure sensor will detect the pressure during dough pressing.
When there is a deviation between the actual data and the set value, the PLC will issue instructions to adjust the corresponding equipment actions. For example, if the oven temperature is too low, the PLC will increase the power of the heating element; If the dough pressure is insufficient, it will increase the strength of the pressure device.
PLC is also responsible for coordinating the sequence and timing of actions of various components in the machine. For example, ensuring that the dough is transported, formed, baked, cooled, and packaged in an orderly manner.
The entire process is precisely controlled by PLC, achieving automation, efficiency, and high quality in biscuit production. For example, in the production of sandwich cookies, the PLC will first control the conveyor device to accurately deliver the cookie blank to the sandwich injection position, then control the injection device to inject an appropriate amount of sandwich filling at the appropriate time, and finally send the completed sandwich cookies to the packaging process.
